Hi I’m Kayla!

I’ve always been inspired by the way small moments can hold so much meaning. I approach each session with a passion for storytelling and a responsibility to preserve these special moments.

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been fascinated by history. I would spend hours going through old family videos and photo albums, wanting to know everything about the people in the photographs. I loved that I could experience memories I wasn’t alive for yet, and preserve moments long after the people in them were gone. That same love has shaped my work today. My mission is to preserve everything from the smallest moments to the biggest milestones—and all the beautiful in-between.

I feel incredibly lucky to live in New England, surrounded by such a beautiful mix of landscapes—from the coast to the city to the mountains. That variety is a constant source of inspiration and deeply influences the way I see and capture the world. I’m naturally drawn to greens, earthy hues, and warm tones, and I love bringing those colors into my work to create images that feel soft, organic, and timeless.

My faith is at the heart of my photography, shaping the way I see and capture the world. I lean on God for guidance and growth in both my life and my creativity. It’s a joy to capture the beauty of His creation and the quiet reminders of His presence in every detail.

Definiton:

Immagine is the Italian word for “image” or “picture.” It can also refer more broadly to a visual representation, reflection, or likeness of something—often used to describe both photographs and the idea of how something is seen or perceived.

Immagine is named in honor of my great-grandfather, Luigi Mansolilli, whose journey from Foggia, Italy to Boston began with a camera, a dream, and a deep love for preserving life’s most meaningful moments.

He opened his photography studio in the heart of Boston’s North End, in historic North Square — in the very space that is now home to the beloved restaurant Mamma Maria.

Almost 150 years later I continue his legacy through my lens.
